Housing Market Conditions

While housing is struggling in much of the U.S. the Salt Lake City Real Estate market remains comparatively healthy. Home prices in the 1st quarter 2007 continued to climb with most zip code areas seeing double digit increases over the same time last year. These home price increases are being driven by the strong local economy and large number of people who are relocating to the area.

Most of the Salt Lake Valley has been fully developed, with the only large chuck of land remaining located on the west side. So if you want a new home your are limited to only a few areas.
